Yellowknife Education District No. 1 invites applications for the following term position:

Physical Education Teacher

Ecole Itl’o

 (JK to Grade 2) 

Half-time Term to June 27, 2023

Afternoons Preferred

Requirements:

• Bilingual teacher preferred (French and English)
• NWT Teaching certificate
• Physical education teaching degree preferred 
• Understanding and experience working with diverse learners
• Understanding and experience in an inclusive teaching environment
• Ability to teach in a multi-grade level environment

Candidates must have an original acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) in place. The original VSC must be dated within 90 days of the date the application is received. This is a condition of employment, and must be in place prior to commencing work in any school.
