Guidance Counsellor

Full-time (100% FTE)

Requirements:

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education Degree, NWT Teacher Certification, and at least 5 years of teaching experience.

 

The successful candidate should further have:

• An educational background or training in counselling or psychology
• Experience working with Indigenous youth
• Experience working in a high school or with high school students
• An understanding of high school graduation requirements
• The ability to work in a team environment
• An understanding of Powerschool and its programs
• A Master’s Degree in Counselling would be an asset
• The ability to speak French and English would be an asset
