Indigenous Language Instructor
Mildred Hall School
Full time (100%FTE) Term
2023/2024 School Year
Requirements inlcude:
-Fluent Wiiliideh or Tlicho Speaker
-Ability to collaborate with all teachers in the school, and work as part of a team
-Embraces technology as a tool to enhance learning
-Strong classroom management skills
-Experience and knowledge of differentiated instruction
-Understanding and experience integrating the Dene Kede Curriculum
-Use and knowledge of the neurolinguistic approach to teaching language
-Understanding of and experience integrating the “Our Languages Curriculum” would be considered an asset
-Understanding of PowerSchool and the ability to write report cards
-Experience teaching students with diverse needs would be considered an asset
-Having completed a Bachelor of Education Degree will be considered an asset
