Yellowknife Education District No. 1 invites applications for the following position:
Grade 7/8 Teacher
Range Lake North School
Full Time (100% FTE)
January 5, 2026 to June 30, 2026
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education Degree, a NWT Teacher Certification and :

Experience in teaching at the middle school level

Experience offering individual and group student supports

Ability to work in a team environment

Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

Understanding and experience working in inclusive schooling environments

Understanding of Differentiated Instruction

Understanding and experience working with diverse learners

Ability to adapt to new situations
